Today we went over triangles and parallelograms: Properties of triangles, proving congruence, using congruence to solve triangles and parallelograms, and parallelogram properties. Below is the key to the work we did today (19-36).

I hope everyone had a wonderful break from school and enjoyed Thanksgiving with family and friends. I am back from my trip to Chicago, and ready for the next few weeks. There are only 17 school days until Christmas break, and we have a lot to do!

We have been reviewing this week, and today we took a practice Interval test. I will grade them tonight and we will go over them tomorrow.

A New Nine Weeks.

Overview:

1. New seating.

2. Rules/Procedures Review (these are the big ones)

- Enter classroom quietly, get supplies ready for class, and begin work on daily bellringer.

- Bring your own supplies to class every day. Failure to do so will result in a 'zero' for that day's participation grade.

- You have 5 restroom passes for this new nine weeks. Use them wisely. Remaining passes will be worth extra credit on your semester exam. (One point per pass). I will keep track of your passes in my roll book.

- Please stay in your seats during class.

- We will be implementing PBS full time in the class. Sleeping, Uniform/ID Violations, Cell Phone/MP3 use, and class disturbances will all be written up.
